Next Saturday evening, Malta Racing Club’s champion driver Noel Baldacchino will be representing Malta in the 2nd leg of the Mediterranean Trotting Horse Racing Championship.
This race will be held at the Ippodromo del Mediterraneo in Syracuse and Noel Baldacchino will be accompanied by the Chairman of the Malta Racing Club Dr Matthew Brincat. The race, which is over the 1600m distance will take off at 9:45pm and has €3,300 in prize money. The starters should be 8 and Baldacchino has drawn number 6, the 6-year old mare Novi Ligure. This mare has raced 13 times during this year and has not yet registered a victory. In her career she has 7 wins from 88 starts.
On behalf of the Malta Racing Club Council as well as all racegoers we wish Noel Baldacchino a successful race.

Exclusive Interview Next Sunday
In next Sunday’s edition of the Sunday newspaper Il-Mument there will be an exclusive interview I carried out with international French jockey Mickael Barzalona. I met Barzalona last week during an international programme held at Nottingham Racetrack in the UK. Today, Barzalona is one of the leading jockeys of Godolphin stables of Dubai.
